IQAC of the college was established on 2008. to take account of academic curriculum and to strengthen the quality teaching, learning and research. The genesis and phenomenal growth with development of this college lies in the altruistic and devoted nature of its Staff in the cause of education. Over the long 50 years of its existence, the system of staff based on the personal seamless contacts at all levels ensured free flow of information, timely remedial measures for achieving excellence and development. It has centralized into having committee as apex body of deliberating on academic and administrative matters. At present Dr. Sushil Kumar Yadav is the coordinator.
New Steps planed by IQAC • Organize inter disciplinary conferences on value education, human rights, skill development etc.
• Proposal is given for a construction of Auditorium to enhance infrastructure.
• To conduct academic audit
• Encouragement in participation in college, University, state and national level sports and games events
• To encourage all the departments to conduct National or State level seminar
• To encourage the Faculty members to participate refresher/orientation / personality development programmes
• To encourage the various departments to conduct invited talks
• Contemplation of strengthening Student Grievance Redressal Cell, Career Counseling cell, Parents Teachers Association etc.
• Reconstitution and strengthening RUSA committee to prepare plan of action and utilization of different funds allocated for infrastructure development etc.
• Automation of Library
• To Provide Internet/Wi-Fi connection to all departments and the laboratories.
• To reconstitute the Library advisory committee
• To organise community service programmes in association of NSS and Rover Ranger’s to inculcate the feeling of service in students

• E-Library has been started and students as well as teachers are availing the facility.
• Limited Internet and Wi-Fi facility is available in college, it will be upgraded soon to provide Internet access to all departments and campus.

NAAC

The University Grants Commission (UGC), established in November 1956 as a statutory body of the government through an act of Parliament with the responsibilities of providing fund and maintenance of standards in institution of higher education.
To monitor the standard of higher educational institutions the UGC has established the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as an autonomous body in September 1994. NAAC has been instilling a momentum of quality consciousness among higher educational institutions, aiming for continuous improvement. However, lastng improvements in standards cannot come about only by accreditation from outside, once in five years. An internal mechanism for sustenance, assurance and enhancement of the quality culture of education imparted by them, therefore, become essential. Recognisingtne importance of such Institutional Internal quality system the UGC has taken a policy decision to direct all colleges to establish IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell
